Fired by Clarkson, Hired by Britney!

Britney SpearsTMZ has learned that Britney Spears has finally succumbed -- to the notion of having legit management! Britz has hired uber-manager Jeff Kwatinez to help resurrect her dying career. Nurse! Code Blue!

We're told Kwatinetz, CEO of The Firm, one of Hollywood's most powerful agencies, is eager to get his hands on a charity case -- and Britney's a case, for sure. If he can pull off an image revamp for the trashtastic poptart, he'll be considered a hero in Hollywood ... and considered for sainthood by the Vatican! Good luck to him. Bring your own Taser!

As TMZ first reported, Kelly Clarkson axed Kwatinetz to hire Reba McEntire's manager/husband Narvel Blackstock. The Firm reps such stars as Leo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Mandy Moore, Korn, Enrique Iglesias and Ice Cube.

4. Maybe Britney should consider joining her friend LINDSAY LOHAN at the exclusive $30,000 CIRQUE LODGE drug and alcohol REHAB in Sundance, Utah. Lindsay will be there for at least a 30 day stay. They will have to let her out temporarily for her DUI court date on August 24.

11. Poor Jeff. I give him 2 weeks before she fires his ass. Britney is beyond help at this point. Hiring a manager is not going to help with her obviously severe psychological issues.

13. I have to say that I have been a “train wreck” a time or two in my life. I bet if all of us were really honest with ourselves we would be able to say that we have made really bad decisions more than we would like to admit. The difference between us and Britney’s is her every mistake is magnified which I am sure makes a bounce back that much harder to do. I am so glad Britney has reached her hand out for help that is the first REAL step to recovery. Those of you who judge her are just haters so do your job haters!

15. This is too funny. She could have taken her mothers' advice for FREE. But now she is hiring someone to turn her career around!

She'll fire this guy the first time he tells her something she doesn't want to hear. I hope he tells her she dresses like a whore and that her store bought hair is a total disaster.

He might be able to dress her up but he isn't going to be able to "clean her up". She will still be the girl with the holes in her stockings, food stains on her clothes and have a bloated face & body.
